ISABEL DE YZAGUIRRE MAURA

Born in 1957 in Barcelona, I went to Primary and Secondary School in this city ( Escola Thalita , INEM Infanta Isabel D’Aragó).

In 1978 I had my Diploma as a Primary School Teacher at Escola Normal de Formació del professorat d’EGB, (University of Barcelona). Since then I have been working at many Public Primary Schools (Departament d’Ensenyament, Generalitat de Catalunya) around Catalonia.

I went on forming myself in many disciplines. In 1998 I had a Graduate in “ Arts Aplicades” in Decoration, Interior Design speciality at Escola d’Arts Deià, in Barcelona.

I did collaborate with architects from Barcelona, Ramón Motge (motje@coac.cat)   and Carles Dorico ( drk@coac.net ),  in Decoration Projects  (whole reform Virgili-Ribé’s living  1998).

Nowadays I live in Moià (Barcelona), Catalonia (Spain) and I’m an e-learner in Humanities and T.I.C. at UOC. Here I learnt Web 2.0 (July 2008).

After some years devoted to my family, in 2008 I became acquainted to Joan Moret. Since that moment I’m a collaborator to that Design Company with good results for both parts. In the Winter Season 2009-10 Joan and I have designed the BimBolles Lighting System.
This was presented in March 27th. in Joan Moret's Showroom at Santanyí.

Sketching for Design  Projects, Space Planning, Colour Consultancy, Autocad 2D, Basics on Photoshop, Word Office 2007, Open Office, PowerPoint 2007 and Web 2.0. I'm a Social Media User, Writer and Blogger. My true Speciality is Information Research for Companies.

I write and publish in this blog and also in my own IdY Interiors & Design.
